As 2022 Ends, Turn Your Compassion into Action

Whether an emergency is felt by an entire community or a single person, it turns lives upside down — especially for the most vulnerable, who depend on the American Red Cross for help and hope. As we near the end of 2022, please remember those in need. Make a tax-deductible donation to the American Red Cross to help prevent and alleviate people’s suffering.

2022 has been a year of crisis for families and communities across the country and around the world. Throughout it all, people have stepped up to turn their compassion into action through the Red Cross mission, helping to touch millions of lives by:

  • Sheltering, feeding and providing comfort after disasters.

  • Supplying about 40% of the nation’s blood.

  • Teaching skills that save lives.

  • Providing international humanitarian aid.

  • Supporting military members, veterans and their families.

As we near the end of 2022, please remember those in need. If charitable giving is a part of your end-of-year tradition, you can make a tax-deductible donation at redcross.org/gift to help prevent and alleviate people’s suffering. A donation of any size will make a difference in someone’s life.

You can also give back by donating blood for patients in need or volunteering in your community. Learn how to get involved at redcross.org.
